USB 3.0 AM to AF Active Optical Cable

The Elike SUMF-3000 is a USB 3.0 Type A male-to-female active optical cable designed for installations where a host and a USB peripheral must be separated by far more than a conventional copper cable allows. High-speed USB data is converted to optical signals at the cable ends and carried over fiber, helping maintain stable 5Gbps SuperSpeed performance at distances up to 100 meters with strong immunity to EMI. The female remote interface lets installers keep the device’s existing USB lead or connect a powered hub, making the cable practical for control rooms, medical imaging carts, conference cameras, digital signage players, storage systems and industrial inspection equipment. It supports control, interrupt, bulk and isochronous transfer types and works with major desktop operating systems. The host end does not require a separate adapter; standard power is required at the remote USB 3.0 AOC port.
