The Elike USB Pure Optical Module is an optoelectronic conversion building block for OEMs developing long-distance or electrically isolated USB links. At the transmit side, the module converts USB electrical signals into optical signals for transport over fiber; a matching receive-side module converts the optical stream back to USB electrical signals. This architecture helps extend USB beyond conventional copper limits, minimizes electromagnetic interference and breaks direct electrical continuity between endpoints—advantages for industrial automation, machine vision, medical devices, laboratory instruments and low-noise measurement systems. Unlike a finished active optical cable, the module gives equipment designers more freedom to select the connector, fiber routing, enclosure and power architecture required by the application.
