The SCDC-3250 serves as a USB 3.1 electrical to optical conversion module, seamlessly translating signals between USB 3.1 electrical and optical formats. AOC technology maintains compatibility with traditional copper cables, yet it leverages optical fiber ‘between the connectors’ to extend USB3.1 applications. This versatile optical fiber cable supports lengths of up to 50 meters with USB 3.1 compatibility and offers backward compatibility with USB 2.0. Integrated chip technology enables mutual conversion between USB3.0 and USB2.0 protocols on remote devices, enabling USB2.0 equipment to harness the super-speed bandwidth of 10Gbps found in USB3.1.
